M.A.P. Program

Nextwave’s Mission Advocate Program is designed to train high school students to champion the Great Commission in their home church. M.A.P. students will receive training and coaching online throughout the school year while being granted opportunities to share their passion for missions and what they’ve learned in their student ministry and with their congregation.

This is a 10-week program which takes place over a school semester (spring or fall) and concludes with a M.A.P. Weekender in Nashville, TN. M.A.P. students will learn how to advocate for missions, organize mission-focused events, lead mission studies and training, and assist in leading mission trips. Graduates of the program become missions experts in their ministry, gain leadership experience, qualify to co-lead an Advance Team.

  • The M.A.P. is designed for junior or senior level high school students (15-18 years old).

  • The total M.A.P. program cost is $950. We encourage students to be supported for this training by the local church.
